This is the core service of the Lyrical Pictogram. Together with your chosen image and a few simple answers to questions asked we use this information to weave art into words.
Each Lyrical Pictogram is a finished literary artwork, written especially for you. We do not offer revisions, so please share any important details when commissioning your piece. If we have made an error, we will, of course, put it right.
Please allow two weeks from placing your order to dispatch. During busy periods, such as the run-up to Christmas, this may take longer. Delivery time will depend on your destination, so please order early if your gift is needed for a particular date.
Yes - we deliver worldwide. Delivery times and charges vary by destination. UK delivery and presentation packaging are included in the price.
Yes - most commissions are a complete surprise to the recipient. The information you share with us helps shape the narrative without needing to involve them.
Yes. Your accompanying artwork is printed on one archival museum-quality A4 sheet, which generally features a single image although it could be a collage of several photographs if preferred.
The photograph itself, together with the information you provide, informs the tone. If you have a particular mood in mind, please tell us when commissioning your piece.
Yes - a Lyrical Pictogram is ordinarily sent directly to the recipient, unless you request otherwise.

A photograph is where every Lyrical Pictogram begins. It provides the inspiration for your portrait in prose, so you will need one to commission a piece. But you do not need the photograph to hand at the time of making a commission.
