  • Originality by Design: This story is crafted entirely by human imagination, inspired by the memories you share; we do not utilise pre-written templates or artificial intelligence. It is the only tale of its kind.

What will you receive?

  • The Story: An original narrative of approximately 800 words, printed on recycled 100% cotton parchment-style paper, handmade by Kagzi artisans using a centuries-old tradition. This is rolled like a historical document, tied with a ribbon and finished with a wax seal. 

  • The Image: Accompanying the scroll is a special rendering of the photograph that inspired its words, printed upon archival 100% cotton, acid-free matte paper - the gold standard used by museums and galleries worldwide.


  • You’ll send us your photo after checkout by email, so you don’t need it ready before you start the process.

How it works

  1. Once you click upon ‘Unveil the Memory’ directly above, you’ll then answer a few short questions such as; who is in the picture, where and when it was taken, what makes it special, and some of their favourite things.

  2. The magic begins as our inspired imaginations shape what you’ve shared into an engaging bespoke story. The more information we have the better. Please note we cannot guarantee all that is provided will be included.

  3. A Lyrical Pictogram is thus born and dispatched directly to the recipient by recorded delivery. We hope both it and the accompanying image will then be placed in the home to be enjoyed over the years to come.

How to send your photo

After you commission your Lyrical Pictogram, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Simply reply to that email with your chosen photo attached (JPEG or PNG) and include your order number in the message.

Timings

  • We usually complete and dispatch each Lyrical Pictogram within two weeks of receiving your answers and image.

  • At busy times (especially Christmas) it can take considerably longer, so please order early if you need it for a particular date.

Practical notes

  • Digital image files only (JPG or PNG). The clearer the image, the better it will look on the page.

  • Each sheet of cotton paper is handmade; tiny variations are part of its character and proof that no two scrolls are ever quite the same.
